So we have but days before we embark on our journey to the true city of sin, amsterdam, NL. I can't help but ask myself why I decided not go study somewhere tropical this spring...I haven't been outside my house in over 5 days and I'm praying that hopefully I'll be more active...they're giving us bicycles so hopefully my sedentary ways of winter will change. I was recently in amsterdam this summer and I was mesmerized by how ppl would text on their cell phones (using both hands) and still mind all the traffic on their way back from work, fully dressed in suits/business attire. They say that there are over 5 million bicycles in the city of amsterdam. I was surprised to find out that 2 million of these bicicycles are stolen. So i'm wondering if whether i should simply steal or buy my bike...hopefully I won't be deported if i resort to the former. So remember this for me...remind me that I need to take my passport pics with me, to find plug adapters and to bring extra ramen cuz god knows food's gonna be expensive over there. Well i guess that's it for now...i'll update this everyday for those who feel compelled to live vicariously through us for the next 5 months or so ;)
